This is crazy. Here is a thought. How about letting the people of Massachusetts decide who they want to represent them? I know what everyone is going to say. How can they be trusted to know what is best for themselves? They have been electing Kennedy and Kerry for years.
In all seriousness, like every voter in this country. They should have the final say. No appointment of Governor Dukakis, Victoria Kennedy or anyone else.
The Senator has passed. Legacy has been praised. Memorials held. Time to move on and let the campaign begin.
