This is outrageous! If the Democrats in Massachusetts succeed in changing the law for the sole reason as to pass a Democratic health care bill, it will be obvious that we no longer have a representative government. Senators are elected to serve the interest of the state and citizens from which they are elected. The push by the late Sen Kennedy, Senator Reid, Governor Patrick is coming as a means of serving the national party. I would urge all citizens of the state of Massachusetts to firmly resist this effort.
If there is a true concern about not having 2 sitting Senators, the special election should be moved forward.
