The focus is in the wrong place. It should be on moving forward legislation that will promote and increase jobs, not on supporting those that can’t find work. Economic programs and “real” job stimulus bills need to be implemented that will encourage investment and job growth in US companies. The majority of the individuals on unemployment would prefer to have a job to go to every morning rather than wait for another unemployment check.
Another extension does nothing to solve the problem; just pushes the losing of benefits back another 3 – 6 months.
