		<description><![CDATA[Senate Democrats hoped to confirm Hillary Clinton as secretary of state this afternoon however, they will have to wait one more day.&#160; Senator John Cornyn has forced a one day delay that will require a roll cal vote tomorrow instead of the unanimous consent motion many were hoping for.&#160; Whether one is a fan or Senator Clinton or not, she is qualified and prepared for the job as Secretary of State.&#160; She has been around government to know how it works.&#160; She is knowledgeable of the &#8220;hot spots&#8221; that she will have to deal with immediately and she knows how to stand her ground and face off with her adversaries. As for the conflicts of interest over the Clinton Foundation; real or perceived, they are going to exists.&#160; Senator Clinton knows this.&#160; President Obama knows this and former President Clinton knows this.&#160; Senator Clinton&#8217;s challenge will be to do everything in her power to ensure that they do not impact her decision making in the role.&#160; Other Secretary&#8217;s of State have had similar conflicts; they were just not as public as hers.
